This is Fred and he is one sweet guy. Fred was found on the side of
the road. He was the victim of cruelty. Someone had cut both of his
testicles. Can you imagine the agony he has been in?!!
The kind person who found him reached out to Wally’s Friends for
help and brought him to us Aug.13.
Fred deserves to live and find a home but first he must undergo an
entire scrotal removal, and it has not been determined if there is
any underlying damage.
This can amount to an extensive plastic surgery to save his life.
Otherwise he must be euthanized.
veterinarian, Dr. Cynthia Gordon is willing to help him, but our
clinic has a full schedule of spay/neuter surgeries.
I am asking for financial assistance from anyone willing to help, as
he will be taken to a different clinic for surgery.

Hi there everyone! Wow, such an outpouring of support against
animal cruelty and compassion for the innocent!!! You are all
I just spoke with Dr. Emily Blackwell. Fred is out of surgery, doing
well and he will be fine! Dr. John Lindsey assisted her. Dr.
Blackwell contacted me the same day Fred came to us, and stopped by
to personally check on him. He was taken to Middle Valley this
morning and will return here on Monday for care.
She confirmed our thoughts that this had happened approximately one
week ago, and within a short time, and no intervention he would have
been dead due to septicemia. (infection) He was definitely cut with
a knife, both testicles had been removed Can you imagine the agony!!
We cannot understand or stop cruelty but we can respond to it and
continue to attempt to change it.
We also want to thank Dr. John Mullins at the Animals Care Center of
Ooltewah for offering to do the surgery at no charge! With all going
on at the clinic it has become difficult to respond to everyone
FRED IS DEFINITELY ONE OF WALLY’S FRIENDS!!! AND SO ARE ALL OF
